It has been a little quiet around here lately! Too quiet! Why? Well it is
summer and even IT Pro Advisors get holidays, but we are also in full planning
mode for the next set of tours that are kicking off in September. I heard this
little bit from the WWPC
and just had to share it!
February 27th, 2008 is the worldwide launch date for for
Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008. I am not going to
use the phrase biggest launch in Microsoft history but.......
Now we haven't announced our dates, cities or plans just yet - that will come
in time - but I did want to get something out there now because....
We want to hear from you! Rick and I introduced you to
Longhorn Server (that's another 50 cents!) Windows Server
2008 on the Future of your Server Room tour last May. You have access to the
Beta 3 bits. If you are a TechNet Plus or MSDN subscriber - the June CTP bits
have been released for DL as well.
So have you downloaded them and tried it out? Have you had the time to play
with it yet? Are you excited about certain functionality that you think will
solve some issues you have been having lately?
