First thing you'll want to do is download the Office SharePoint Server 2007 Software Development Kit (SDK) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Starter Kit. This will be an important resource throughout you're SharePoint development experience. It contains code samples, developer tools, and references to help you through your development process. After you've done that, check out the following video:

• SharePoint Products and Technologies 2007 --the server side of Office

This will give you an overview on what SharePoint 2007 is about, the new features, and the improvements from previous versions.

Now that you have a basic understanding of SharePoint, you'll need to install and configure your MOSS 2007 environment so that you can get some hands-on experience. I have a step-by-step installation demo on my blog which will walk you through installing and configuring MOSS 2007 on Virtual PC 2007.

Thanks alot Mr.Mohunad And Mr.Ayman. i waiting for a next community night coz i very interest for Windows Workflow Foundation WWF. i have a good knowledge about it and how i can build workflow and develop custom activities that meet any Human or automated workflow. 

i have many questions for windows workflow foundation and sharepoint and how i can host workflow(XAML file) using sharepoint.
